BOX OFFICE FAQ
WHAT IS THE SHOW SCHEDULE?
Previews are Thursday and Friday at 8:00PM of opening weekend with shows continuing some Thursdays at 7:30pm, Friday performances at 7:30pm, Saturday performances at 2:00PM & 8:00PM and Sundays at 2:00pm. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE THEATRE?
We recommend that patrons arrive at least thirty minutes prior to curtain, especially if tickets are being held at Will Call.
WHERE ARE THE PERFORMANCES?
GYPSY will be held at the Alcazar Theater, 650 Geary Street, San Francisco. THE FULL MONTY, A CHORUS LINE, and IN THE HEIGHTS will be held at the Victoria Theater, 2961 16th Street, San Francisco. Both are easily accessibly via MUNI and BART and both have parking garages within a two-block radius.
IF I AM LATE CAN I STILL GET IN?
There is no late seating at Bay Area Musicals. Performances begin promptly. Patrons who arrive late will be asked to wait in the lobby to be sat during an appropriate break or intermission. Additionally, there is no reserved seating for late patrons. The House Manager will assign a seat that will allow for the least amount of disruption to the performance.
CAN I GIVE MY TICKETS TO SOMEONE ELSE IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?
If you find that you are unable to use your tickets, you can donate them to the theatre for a tax-deductible donation. You can do it over the phone up to one hour before show time, or in person at the box office up to 30 minutes before show time. We will email you a receipt for your taxes.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY TICKET?
If you lose your tickets, don’t worry; contact the box office and we’ll re-print them free of charge.
ARE THERE BOX OFFICE FEES?
There is a $3.75 Box Office fee charged per ticket. The fee applies to online, over the phone, and door purchases. Membership holders pay no extra ticket fees! Membership holders must call the box office to wave any fees when purchasing additional tickets or exchanging show dates.
ARE THE SEATS RESERVED?
All Bay Area Musical productions are reserved seating. For best seating please purchase your tickets early.
CAN I BRING MY INFANT?
Every show is rated on a scale of G, PG, PG-13, and R for audience content and appropriateness. In the rare case that you are unable to find a babysitter, we recommend sitting near an aisle in the back row if you are bringing children above 3 years old. Children under 3 are not allowed. This is for the comfort of all our patrons (including you and your child). All children must have a ticket.
CAN I GET A REFUND OR EXCHANGE?
Bay Area Musicals is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and cannot provide refunds. If you are unable to attend a scheduled performance consider exchanging your ticket. There is a $10.00 per ticket box office fee for ticket exchanges to single ticket holders and third party discount ticket suppliers.
